The sheriff's department says the 17-year-old was shot around 5 p.m. on Saunders Grove Drive near Route 24 in Bedford County.

The 30 foot tall tree is decorated with one thousand feet of lights.

Nineteen-year-old Jesse James Corbin, Jr. now faces seven charges including murder, abduction, grand larceny and attempted robbery. 

Twenty-four-year-old Adam Smith of Gladys died Thursday.  Investigators say he was shot along Wheelers Spring Road on November 22.
